I am member of the Kajukenbo Self-Defense Institute Inc. (KSDI#9081), Ordonez Kajukenbo Ohana (OKO#006), and also a proud member of the Diversified League of Martial Artist. I am the Vice-President of the Ordonez Kajukenbo Ohana (OKO) and a Co-Founding member. I started my journey with martial arts at age 6 - 13. Instructor was Shihan Kenneth Funakoshi of Karate Association of Hawaii. The art was Shotokan Karate.

At the age of 24, I began teaching Modern Army Combatives to my Soldiers of the Hawaii Army National Guard. The program was created from the Gracies of Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. During this time I also trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with North Shore Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and then later with Egan Inoue of Grappling Unlimited.
At the age of 32, I was introduced to the art of Kajukenbo. This art consist of Korean Karate (Tang Soo Do), Judo/Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo, and Western/Chinese Boxing.

I have earned Kajukenbo black belts from Professor Chuck Stevenson and GM Sifu Al Dela Cruz. Currently, I fall directly under Kajukenbo Co-Founder Frank Ordonez. I am still training and teaching Kajukenbo at age 47 and have (5) five certified black belt instructors under me. During this past 10 years, I have been deployed overseas into the countries of Iraq and Kuwait. Each deployment into the combat zone was the length of 1 year. On my first deployment, I conducted Kajukenbo classes twice a week and was able to promote two color belts. During my second deployment, I conducted a Kajukenbo/AMJ classes once a week. I promoted one green belt and one brown belt. These students are currently still with me.
After each deployment, I`ve completed home study courses in the art of American Kenpo and Yoshin Ryu Jujitsu. I am certified as an Edge Weapons Combatives IT under GM Jason Groff, “Master of the Knife” under GM Adrian Roman, and certified level I instructor of the Saber Method under Master Fernan Vargas.
